Support the "Khrushchev in Iowa" Celebration

Join us in making history! The "Khrushchev in Iowa" 50th anniversary celebration is:

teaching valuable lessons to today's youth about the value of dialogue with ideological opponents;
celebrating Iowa's progressive traditions and agricultural innovation;
documenting, celebrating and helping to revive 50 years of positive Iowa-Russia citizen diplomacy;
and promoting positive US-Russia relations and trade.

Interest and participation in the event keeps growing. At the end of August we hosted 31 Russian political and agribusisness leaders for an amazing four-plus days of public and private events. This event was made possible only through the support of dozens of institutions and individuals (please click here to see sponsors.)

Additional contributions, great, medium or small, would be highly welcome. If you remember the visit and its significance, have been to Russia or have hosted Russians, or just want to celebrate and promote Iowa's progressive role in the world, please give to Khrushchev in Iowa. From beginning to end, this has been a citizen-led event supported by Iowans who believe in our progressive Iowa past, present and future.
